Kobolds appear as very small lizard-like humanoids.

Disposition - : They are constantly looking for trouble, and think they are clever. They are even so delusional as to devise a plan to steal eggs from a Griffon or a dragon. They always travel in high numbers, and feed off each other in bad ways.

 

Fears -------- : High casualties in a single turn. If 10% of their number is killed in a single strike, Kobolds will retreat, then regroup to discuss battle plans. To some, this would seem comical, except for the fact that Kobolds love to cook their victims on spits at night and hold riotous parties as they feast.

 

Habitat ------ : Grasslands and forests, though they are found in many other regions.

Immunities - : None.

Life-span --- : 70 years.

Likes -------- : Hunting, stealing, and taking slaves to work for them. If captured by this creature, one has a good chance of becoming a slave if careful how they approach Kobolds. Prove yourself useful and you may not end up dinner.

 

Needs ------- : Basic necessities of life (food, water shelter, Etc.).

Note --------- : If Kobolds are approached in the attitude of bargaining for food, or in hopes of forming an alliance, they will listen and decide. They will vote on it.

 

Special Abilities:

Language: Kobolds speak a broken form of Human.

Snares and Nets: Kobold love to set snares and use nets to capture prey alive (so they can save them for eating later). Fresh meat is always a favorite.

 

Special Defenses:

Magic-Resistance: 30%. It is suspected this resistance is a matter of pride, and that this is the reason why Kobolds take such crazy chances when other, more powerful, creatures would not. Kobold are not the brightest, though they think they are. Kobolds truly are delusional when it comes to wise choices.
